Nature of Service: Ephemeral Conduit

FB4KDownloader does not maintain a media database, does not host videos on its servers, and does not catalog copyrighted broadcasts. Our service acts as a technical intermediary conduit, temporarily parsing publicly accessible media streams as requested by users in their own browser sessions. Once a stream is delivered, all volatile memory buffers are purged.

Notwithstanding our conduit status, we voluntarily cooperate with copyright holders to blacklist URLs and block our tool from processing specific video addresses upon receiving a verified notice.

Filing a DMCA Notice: Required Elements

To file an actionable notice with our designated agent, you must provide a written communication containing all of the following statutory requirements:

1. Authorized Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the Work: Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g. title, original Facebook URL on your verified page, or copyright registration number).
3. Identification of the Infringing Material: The exact specific URL(s) on Facebook being processed or referenced that you are requesting be blocked.
4. Contact Information: Your full legal name, company or organization, mailing address, telephone number, and active business email address.
5. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a "good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law".
6. Accuracy & Perjury Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Response Timeframe & Action

Upon receipt of a valid, fully compliant notice at our designated email address:

• Our compliance officer verifies the notice within 24 to 48 business hours.
• We add the reported Facebook URL to our internal extraction blacklist, preventing our utility from fetching or processing the video stream.
• We send an email confirmation to the rights holder confirming the URL has been blacklisted.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If a user believes in good faith that a video was blacklisted or blocked mistakenly (for example, under a valid Creative Commons license or statutory Fair Use exception), they may submit a counter-notification to dmca@fb4kdownloader.com containing:

• Their physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was blocked and the URL prior to removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that they have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• Their legal name, address, telephone number, and consent to local jurisdiction.
